THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT INFORMATION :
If you use more than one drug at a time or mix your drugs you can end up in big trouble or even dead.
- Any time you use any drug the effects can be different. It doesn’t matter how many times you have used you will never know exactly how you will be affected. The mood you are in, what you have eaten, the way your body is working that day and a load of other factors can make all the difference
- People take hallucinogenic drugs to have a good trip (see LSD, DMT, 2CB and Magic Mushroom pages). There is however often another side to the experience. If you can imagine your worst nightmare come true and there is no way out of it, this is also what can happen to you when you take a hallucinogenic drug. The mood you are in when the drug kicks in decides which way the trip goes.
The one problem with this is that when the drug kicks in it is sometimes more intense than expected. This freaks people out and sends them on what is known as a “BAD TRIP”.
It is difficult for people to know exactly what type of mood they are in and you never really know how strong the drug you take is. It is a very risky business. A bad trip is difficult to get out of and will be one of the worst experiences of your life.
- Many drugs make you feel as though you don’t want to eat. This can mess up the way your body processes the food you eat (your metabolism).
If you don’t eat you lose weight but when you DO eat (which you have to at some stage) your metabolism is much slower to burn up the food so you put weight on quicker. Anyone that thinks this is a quick way to diet is wrong
- Most street drugs are never more than 30% of the drug you think you are buying.
People mix in all types of different things to bulk up the amounts they have so they can make more money
- Dependence is another word for addiction and is used by some drug experts.
MORE TIPS :
- Physical dependence is when your body cannot go without the drug.
- Psychological dependence is when your brain thinks you cannot go without the drug.
- Comedown is something that most drug users will experience. If the drug has given you loads of energy and made you feel really happy the comedown or after effects when the drug has worn off will be exhaustion and feeling really down and unhappy (depressed).
- When people use psychologically addictive drugs like amphetamines, cocaine and crack it can make them want to use that drug again really badly. It messes up the way they think and even though the drug doesn’t cause a physical dependence it does affect the brain.
All they want to do is use the drug and they would do anything to get the money for it. Users will steal from friends and family, shoplift, mug people, sell themselves, work for dealers and do just about anything that can get them more of their drug. This is not an over night thing.
People may use once in a while but the more often they use, the more serious the problems become. It can be worse for different drugs (crack is a big problem) but all can cause these types of problem.
